With one more year of high school baseball remaining, Reeder has the opportunity to showcase his skills and prepare for the next level. On the mound, he has an easy and loose arm action with good direction to home in his delivery, but needs to get on the balls of his feet as he lands. From the right side he struggles with using his lower half and from the left side has much better feel for the barrel. He needs to create a better pre-pitch routine. Defensively at 3B, he good hands and can make accurate feeds on the run. Reeder is an athletic two-sport athlete who is RHP /3B. Stock on the mound will rise quickly as more arm strength is developed. Breaking ball has potential to be a quality out pitch when he stays on top. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 73-76 mph with arm side run. He needs to work on maintaining balance and use lower half more to improve hitting / power grades. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a level swing path. He tracks the ball well and shows good pitch selection. At the plate, Robert is a switch hitter with a solid setup from both sides. Throws are accurate as he throws from multiple arm angles but will benefit by getting on a long toss program to build more arm strength. Hands are soft / clean but needs to be presented more out front to improve defensive grades. Feet are quick / athletic as he works around groundballs as he makes the routine plays. Reeder continues to show as a two-way player 3B/RHP and currently showed better at 3B for the next level. Pirate City Christmas Camp and Tournament - Session 1
